Description
The IKEA KURA Bed 2-in-1 Sleeping Drawer 90×180 NestUp Sleep Natural Wood creates an additional sleeping place and more flexibility in the children’s room.
One IKEA KURA Bed. Two or Even Three Sleeping Places
NestUp Sleep was developed for families who want to create more possibilities in the children’s room — without additional furniture and without losing space.
Everyday life in a children’s room is constantly changing.
Sometimes additional storage space is needed.
Sometimes a cosy sleeping place for siblings, guests or shared nights next to the child.
That is exactly what NestUp Sleep was created for.
During the day, a large drawer under the IKEA KURA bed provides space for bedding, toys, books or everyday items.
In the evening, the same area transforms into a fully functional sleeping place with an integrated slatted bed base.
The natural pine creates a warm, calm and timeless atmosphere in the children’s room and perfectly matches the original IKEA KURA bed.
Ideal for families who:
- need an additional sleeping place
- want to make optimal use of small rooms
- love practical 2-in-1 solutions
- prefer natural materials
- want to create more order and calm in everyday life
NestUp Sleep combines storage space and a sleeping place in one well-designed system that can accompany families for many years.
The NestUp Sleep 2-in-1 Drawer
The IKEA KURA Bed 2-in-1 Sleeping Drawer 90×180 NestUp Sleep Natural Wood was developed specifically for everyday use in the children’s room and combines two practical functions in one piece of furniture.
- Additional Sleeping Place
NestUp Sleep can be used as a comfortable pull-out bed under the IKEA KURA bed.
Ideal for:
- siblings
- overnight guests
- falling asleep together
- small children’s rooms
Suitable for mattresses:
90 × 180 cm
(recommended height up to 10 cm)
The integrated slatted bed base provides additional comfort and stability while sleeping.
- Practical Storage Space for Everyday Use
When the sleeping function is not needed, NestUp Sleep transforms into a large storage drawer for:
- bedding
- toys
- blankets
- books
- seasonal clothing
- everyday items
This keeps the children’s room calmer, tidier and better organised.
Sturdy Construction for Everyday Family Life
Many comparable sleeping drawers have only thin bases with a thickness of 4–6 mm.
NestUp Sleep, by contrast, uses a sturdy 15 mm base that:
- reinforces the construction
- provides additional comfort
- reduces bending
- improves stability
- better insulates the sleeping area from the floor
The drawer also runs on silicone wheels, allowing it to move more quietly and smoothly.
The natural pine front further enhances the warm and harmonious character of the entire system.

IKEA KURA Bed Sleeping Drawer
2-in-1 NestUp Sleep
NestUp Sleep transforms the IKEA KURA bed into a flexible sleeping solution for siblings,
guests and nights when an additional sleeping place is simply worth its weight in gold.
- One sleeping place in the children’s room. No permanent place for overnight guests. Mattresses, blankets or sleeping bags have to be organised again every time.
- An additional sleeping place – and with NestUp Base, even two additional sleeping places. A pull-out sleeping place directly under the IKEA KURA bed. More peace of mind during sleepovers, visits and spontaneous nights next to your child.
A Third Sleeping Place When It Is Needed
NestUp Sleep creates an additional sleeping place under the IKEA KURA bed without permanently placing another bed in the room.
A Drawer During the Day. A Bed in the Evening.
The sleeping drawer remains space-saving and hidden under the bed during the day and is simply pulled out when needed.
For Siblings, Friends and Family Nights
Whether for visitors, sleepovers with friends or a night next to the child – NestUp Sleep makes the children’s room more flexible without additional furniture.
