Right of Withdrawal

This page explains how to withdraw from your order.

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires fourteen days from the day:

on which you, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you, acquire physical possession of the goods, where you ordered a single item;
on which you, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you, acquire physical possession of the last item, where you ordered several items in one order and they are delivered separately;
on which you, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you, acquire physical possession of the last lot or piece, where an item is delivered in several lots or pieces.
How to exercise your right of withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us:

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement — for example, an e-mail or a letter sent by post.

You may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not obligatory. Using the form does not affect the rest of this notice.

Meeting the deadline

It is sufficient that you send your communication concerning the exercise of your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery — with the exception of any supplementary costs resulting from your choosing a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery we offer — without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw.

We will carry out the reimbursement using the same means of payment you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is the earlier.

Returning the goods

You must send the goods back or hand them over to us without undue delay, and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal to us.

The deadline is met if you send the goods back before the fourteen-day period expires.

Cost of returning the goods

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

The cost depends on the size and weight of the item, the country you return from and the carrier you choose. Smaller, lighter items can be returned by ordinary parcel service. Larger items cannot normally be returned by post because of their size and weight.

Based on our own carrier rates, returning goods to our address in Germany costs approximately:

Small, light items — curtains, textiles, small accessories from approx. EUR 9.99
Medium items — individual panels, boards and smaller components approx. EUR 20 to EUR 40
Large or bulky items — complete sets, large panels, frames up to approx. EUR 69.99

The actual cost may differ, and returns from more distant countries are generally at the upper end of these ranges. If you are unsure what your return will cost, write to us at info@ilovekura.eu before sending anything back and we will tell you.

For justified complaints, incorrect deliveries or transport damage, we bear the cost of return.

Diminished value

You are liable only for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Assembling a product to check it is permitted to the extent necessary for that inspection.

Exclusions from the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods:

which are not prefabricated and are made on the basis of an individual choice or decision by the consumer;
which are clearly tailored to the consumer’s personal requirements;
which are personalised.

Products of this kind are clearly identified as such in our shop before you place your order. Choosing between colour, size or design variants offered in our catalogue is not personalisation, and the full right of withdrawal applies to those products.
