Material & Workmanship
The safety barrier is made from solid pine wood.
As wood is a natural material, the grain, colour and structure may vary slightly. Over time, pine may naturally darken slightly.
Conception
NIVO 165 was developed specifically for the IKEA KURA bed.
With a length of 165 cm, it protects a large part of the bed side without completely closing off access to the bed.
When the bed is used in the lower configuration, an open entry and exit area remains. When the upper sleeping level is used, the barrier creates a continuous protective line along almost the entire side of the bed.
The simple shape and natural pine look match the character of the IKEA KURA bed and make the safety barrier appear like a natural part of the construction.

All dimensions are approximate and given in mm.
More Protection for
the Entire Side of the Bed.
NIVO 165 creates a protected sleeping area and
adapts flexibly to different IKEA KURA configurations.
- Open bed side. Less protection during sleep. More uncertainty for restless sleepers.
- 165 cm protected bed area. More safety during sleep. Easy entry and exit remain possible.
165 cm Protection Length
Protects a large part of the bed side and creates a significantly larger protected area than shorter safety barriers.
Flexible Use
When the upper bed is used, the barrier protects almost the entire side of the bed. In the lower configuration, an opening of approx. 35 cm remains.
Part of the I Love KURA System
Can be combined with additional barriers, roofs, NestUp systems and other I Love KURA products.
