Material & Workmanship
VILO MAX is made from solid pine wood and white MDF infills. The combination creates a stable construction and a modern, clean appearance.
As wood is a natural material, the grain, colour and structure may vary slightly. Over time, pine may naturally darken slightly.
Design
The construction protects the front, the rear and both sides of the upper sleeping level. The closed MDF surfaces create a calm and harmonious furniture-like appearance and also provide a feeling of security. This creates a protected sleeping area around the entire sleeping surface.

- Children must not climb on, sit on, stand on or hang from the barriers.
- No additional objects that could affect the stability of the construction may be attached to it.
- The barriers must not be used as a ladder, step, seat or play equipment.
- Damaged, deformed or worn components must no longer be used and must be replaced.
- Keep packaging materials away from children and dispose of them immediately after unpacking.
- The product is intended exclusively for indoor use.
Intended Use
VILO MAX is a four-piece fall protection system for the IKEA KURA bed. The construction consists of a front barrier, a rear barrier and two side barriers and is designed to reduce the risk of accidentally falling out during sleep.
By protecting the front, rear and both sides of the bed, a protected area is created around the entire sleeping surface on the upper sleeping level.
The construction made from solid pine wood and MDF combines maximum safety with a modern and harmonious furniture-like appearance.
The product is intended exclusively for private indoor use and may only be installed on compatible bed constructions.
The fall protection barriers are not intended for climbing, gymnastics, hanging, swinging or use as play equipment and may only be used for their intended safety function.
Care and Inspection
- Regularly check that all fastening elements are secure.
- Inspect the construction for damage, cracks or deformation.
- Clean wooden and MDF surfaces with a slightly damp cloth.
- Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or abrasive cleaners.
- If visible damage occurs, the product must not be used until the affected parts have been replaced.
