The set of four precisely fitted MDF boards creates an enclosed 90 Ă— 200 cm surface that can be installed on either the upper or lower level of the bed.
This creates a sturdy utility surface that can be adapted entirely to the child’s needs – as a play level, reading corner, retreat or cosy place to relax.
Especially in KURA house beds, NestUp Board creates a continuous floor surface where children can play without having to walk on mattresses or slatted bed bases.

NestUp Board consists of a precisely fitted support structure made of natural pine and four MDF boards, which together form an enclosed 90 Ă— 200 cm utility surface.
The system can be installed on either the upper or lower level of the IKEA KURA bed and opens up entirely new possibilities for designing the children’s room.
Whether as a play level in a house bed, a cosy reading corner, a retreat or a base for a NestUp Sofa – NestUp Board creates a sturdy surface where previously there were only slatted bed bases or free space.

Material & Workmanship
The support structure is made of untreated pine and was developed to fit the IKEA KURA bed.
The utility surface is formed by four white-lacquered MDF boards with a thickness of 15 mm.
As wood is a natural material, the grain, colour and structure may vary slightly. Over time, pine may naturally darken slightly.
Design
NestUp Board was designed to visually match the original IKEA KURA bed and fits harmoniously into existing children’s room concepts.
The construction can be installed on either the upper or lower level of the IKEA KURA bed and offers numerous possibilities for play, reading and utility surfaces.

The system consists of a pine support structure and four MDF boards, which together form an enclosed play and utility surface.

- The construction is intended exclusively for use with the IKEA KURA bed.
- Damaged components must not continue to be used.
- Children should not jump or climb on the construction.
