Material & Workmanship
VILO DUO SPLIT is made from solid pine wood and white MDF infills. The combination creates a stable construction and a modern, clean appearance.
As wood is a natural material, the grain, colour and structure may vary slightly. Over time, pine may naturally darken slightly.
Design
The construction protects the front and one side of the upper sleeping level. At the same time, the area around the ladder remains freely accessible and allows comfortable entry and exit in everyday use.
The closed MDF surfaces give the bed a modern and harmonious furniture-like appearance.

VILO DUO SPLIT is a two-piece fall protection system for the IKEA KURA bed. The construction consists of a front barrier and a side barrier and is designed to reduce the risk of accidentally falling out during sleep.
By protecting the front and one side of the bed, a protected sleeping area is created on the upper sleeping level. At the same time, the area around the ladder remains freely accessible and allows comfortable entry and exit.
The construction made from solid pine wood and MDF combines reliable safety with a modern and calm furniture-like appearance.
The product is intended exclusively for private indoor use and may only be installed on compatible bed constructions.
The fall protection barriers are not intended for climbing, gymnastics, hanging, swinging or use as play equipment and may only be used for their intended safety function.
Care and Inspection
- Regularly check that all fastening elements are secure.
- Inspect the construction for damage, cracks or deformation.
- Clean wooden and MDF surfaces with a slightly damp cloth.
- Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or abrasive cleaners.
- If visible damage occurs, the product must not be used until the affected parts have been replaced.
